Thoughts about the Character - Thamiris have been exiled from the bountiful desert city before she was even born, she was still in her mother's womb and the crime was that her mother was the favorite concubine of the king, she got pregnant and although she promised neither she nor her baby would ever request anything from the king nor would they claim any rights towards the crown, the queen would have none of it. The Queen requested Thamiris's mother to be executed back when her pregnancy was found and because no one wanted to cross her, it was granted the queen's wish but fortunately, the king intervened, he putted a show, executing a lowly criminal and instead sent Thamiris's mother away.
The two lived a very poor life, but they had enough to be happy and enjoy each other company, when her mother got sick and it was certain there wasn't much time left, she told Thamiris all about her linage and although she had promised the queen not to get involved in anything political, Thamiris's mother believed that, now that her daughter had grown up, it should be her decision about the path she wants to lead her life, and it's her right to know all about her own conditions even tho it's impossible to hide her heritage, Thamiris has the same hair color that flows in the royal family, but she got her mother's strong eyes.
I believe Thamiris would still be thinking about her options and everything her mother told her, she hasn't decided yet but undoubtfully, whatever she chooses Thamiris will follow it with determination and a unwavering belief.
